fear.

i fear new lives being born with sadness.
people seem to think that it is not a valid concern.
that sadness is acquired.

i'm not so sure.

i have the sadness.

two kids died.
they were brothers, nephews of a friend.
the first took his life, and a month later his brother is also dead.

you just don't know.
